Lenna Hovanessian Emerges As Top Democrat Fundraiser In First Filing For Clark County Commission Race

NewsDiasporaLenna Hovanessian Emerges As Top Democrat Fundraiser In First Filing For Clark County Commission Race

Lenna Hovanessian announced strong early fundraising numbers in her first official filing for the Democratic Primary in Clark County Commission District F, reporting $131,690.95 raised in under two months from more than 145 individual contributions. The early fundraising haul signals strong momentum and growing support across District F as the race takes shape ahead of the June 9, 2026 primary.

Hovanessian’s fundraising progress reflects deep and diverse backing from community members, working families, and local leaders who believe in her vision for a stronger, safer, and more affordable Clark County. Her priorities include expanding access to affordable housing, ensuring families can receive the healthcare they need, and advancing an economic justice agenda that uplifts working people.

“I’m humbled by the trust and support our community has shown,” said Hovanessian. “I look forward to continuing to listen to residents in District F. From Sandy Valley to Blue Diamond, I will visit your neighborhoods, hear your concerns, and take action. My campaign is about representing your voices, and together, we will build a stronger District F.”

Since launching her campaign, Hovanessian has centered her work on meeting residents where they are, engaging communities across the district, and building partnerships grounded in service and accountability. She is positioning herself as a proven leader who will fight to make Clark County more affordable.

With this robust first filing, Hovanessian has demonstrated both the viability and momentum needed to win, and to bring a people-centered approach, leading with excellence, integrity, and transparency, to the Clark County Commission.

With the Democratic incumbent not seeking re-election, the race is wide open and expected to be highly competitive. The primary election will be held on June 9, with early voting running May 23 through June 5. The general election is scheduled for November 3.

District F includes Mountain’s Edge, Southern Highlands, and neighborhoods along the 215 Beltway, home to thousands of families increasingly concerned about rising property taxes, public safety, and the pace of development.

The County Commission is one of the most powerful governing bodies in Nevada. Commissioners oversee a $9 billion budget, make zoning decisions shaping growth on and around the Las Vegas Strip, set countywide property policies, and direct funding for law enforcement across the metropolitan area.

For voters who believe the most effective government is closest to the people, races like this one deserve the same attention as high-profile congressional contests. Decisions that impact families’ daily lives, property taxes, neighborhood safety, and long-term community planning are made not in Washington, but here at home by local officials.

Armenian-Americans and Clark County residents are encouraged to stay informed and learn more about the campaign. Additional campaign details, donation options, and updates can be found at www.Lenna4NV.com and on social media at @Lenna4NV.
