She presented Armenia’s ongoing reforms, including the integration of AI into high schools through programs such as AI Serund, STEP.ai, and AI Generation, which provide pathways from school to post-secondary education. These initiatives currently involve hundreds of teachers and over 600 students across all regions of Armenia, equipping them with AI literacy, programming skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

She also showcased the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies and its generative AI educational programs, designed to foster comprehensive AI literacy among youth.

Andreasyan added that Armenian universities are strengthening AI-related curricula, while international events like WCIT 2024 are positioning Armenia as a regional technology hub.

Minister Andreasyan said Armenia expects AI modules to be implemented in over 80% of the country’s schools by the end of the decade, with the aim of producing graduates who are creators of AI, not just consumers.
