Armenia’s exports to the United States increased by 25% in the first ten months (January-October) of 2024, reaching $50.2 million, according to a Facebook post by Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, reports Zartonk Media.
The primary exports to the U.S. included jewelry, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, mineral water, and aerial vehicles (devices).
Despite this increase, overall trade turnover between the two countries dropped by 59% due to a significant decrease in imports, with the most substantial decline seen in American car imports, which fell 3.5 times, amounting to a $442 million drop.
