A Russian man was videotaped confronting and beating an Azeri for his sign that read “Not For Sale to Armenians.” The Azeri man who owns a small fruit stand in Russia later apologized saying “I want to apologize, we have a lot of Armenian customers.”

This comes a day after ethnic Azeris targeted Armenian nationals in Russia due to their ethnicity and their origins and beat them. These actions and ethnic discrimination have no place in society, they only continue to sow interethnic strife and undermine the multinational foundations of the Russian Federation.
