Of course, this information is not so urgent amid the coronavirus crisis, but I am glad that the international community is recording the profound changes that are taking place in the economic environment of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook, per News.Am.

“Armenia’s economy is becoming more and more free, and this is the main way to stimulate investment,” he added, in particular.

Then Pashinyan posted the Armenian government’s message, which reads: “According to the Index of Economic Freedom published by Heritage Foundation, Armenia has improved its position by 13 points in one year, ranking 34th out of 180 countries, becoming ‘mostly free’ from a country with a ‘moderately free’ economy.

With this indicator, Armenia is the leader among the EEU countries. In addition, the country’s overall score exceeds the average regional and global indicators.”
