Coca-Cola HBC Armenia marked 30 years of operations in the country on Wednesday, September 24, at an anniversary event in Yerevan, and announced plans to invest a further €30.7 million in Armenia between 2026 and 2030. The company has operated in Armenia since 1996, when it became one of the first multinationals to invest in the country.
The event brought together representatives of the Armenian government, ambassadors, business partners, customers, employees, and leaders from Coca-Cola HBC and The Coca-Cola Company.
What the Business Contributes to Armenia
A 2025 economic impact study by Steward Redqueen found that the Coca-Cola system in Armenia contributes nearly €111.4 million to the country’s GDP, supports nearly 3,800 direct and indirect jobs, and sources nearly €22 million in goods and services from local suppliers. The company’s community initiatives reached 114,100 beneficiaries in 2025, across youth, environmental, and community well-being programs.
The new €30.7 million pledge for 2026 through 2030 builds on more than €14.2 million the company invested between 2022 and 2025.
A Donation for a Yerevan Courtyard
Marking the anniversary, the Coca-Cola HBC Foundation announced a donation of nearly €100,000 toward the renewal of a residential courtyard in Yerevan’s Kentron district. The project will create a safer and more welcoming space for nearly 4,000 local residents.

Dushan Mitrev, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC’s Ukraine, Armenia & Moldova Business Unit, pointed to the company’s roots in the country. “Armenia is an important part of our regional business, with strong local talent, committed partners and deep connections to the communities we serve. Over three decades, those relationships have helped us grow sustainably,” he said. “As we look ahead, our focus is on continuing to grow this business locally, supporting our customers and creating value for our people, partners and communities.”
Arthur Sahakyan, Country Operations Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Armenia, tied the milestone to the local team. “This anniversary belongs first to our people in Armenia. We are proud to celebrate this milestone together and look forward to continuing to grow with Armenia.”
A Night of Armenian Jazz
The anniversary event celebrated the company’s 30-year history, partnerships, and community initiatives, and featured a performance by the Armenian State Jazz Orchestra and a special show at One&Only Theatre, Seven Visions Resort & Places, The Dvin.
