Armenian actor Samvel Tadevosyan is one of the faces of Dior’s new menswear campaign “A Study in Precision,” shot for the French luxury fashion house’s Winter 2026-2027 tailoring collection.
He is best known for “Kyanq u Kriv” (Life and Fight, The Line), a 2016 drama directed by Mher Mkrtchyan and set in 1991 during the Artsakh Liberation War. Tadevosyan plays Tigran, who enlists as a volunteer. He also appeared in “Bravo, Virtuoso,” and works as an actor, filmmaker and theatre director.
The campaign centers on contemporary readings of classic menswear, with the suit at its core. Tadevosyan was photographed in pieces from the collection, and the imagery is built around silhouette, fabric, collars, ties and leather accessories. American photographer Theo Wenner shot the portraits, with the still life images by Finland’s Heikki Kaski.
Born in Yerevan in 1993, Tadevosyan graduated from the theater faculty of the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography. He has performed at the Opera and Ballet National Theater and the Hovhannes Tumanyan Puppet Theater, and won the Artavazd award for best young actor for his solo performance in “Egoist.”
