Kinodaran, Armenia’s leading streaming platform, has released Legacy of Heroes, a new original documentary series dedicated to the Armenian figures whose lives have shaped the nation’s identity. The first episode is out now, exclusively for Kinodaran subscribers worldwide.
The opening episode is dedicated to Monte Melkonian, the commander, freedom fighter, and intellectual who left a quiet life abroad to fight for Artsakh, and who was killed in 1993 at the age of 35. His name has carried across generations as the embodiment of conviction, sacrifice, and service to the nation.
The series is built for every Armenian, but especially for younger generations growing up in the diaspora, many of whom inherit these names without ever fully meeting the people behind them. Legacy of Heroes sets out to change that, giving each hero their own episode, their own story, their own voice.
