Zartonk Media has marked April as Armenian Heritage Month, a month-long initiative dedicated to remembering, educating, and activating audiences on Armenian history, culture, heritage, and identity.
Throughout the month, Zartonk will publish daily content highlighting key moments in Armenian history, notable figures, cultural milestones, and stories that have shaped the Armenian experience across generations.
April holds deep significance for Armenians worldwide, culminating in the commemoration of the Armenian Genocide on April 24. Armenian Heritage Month aims to build toward that moment while also expanding awareness of Armenia’s broader historical legacy and global contributions.
The initiative will focus on consistent, accessible storytelling designed to inform, preserve, and strengthen Armenian identity in the digital age.
In addition to historical content, Zartonk will introduce new efforts throughout the month, including community-driven support for independent Armenian media and the launch of a new platform supporting Armenian creators and photographers.
Zartonk Media stated that Armenian Heritage Month is intended not only as a time of remembrance, but as an ongoing effort to ensure Armenian history remains visible, understood, and carried forward.
Content will be released daily across Zartonk’s platforms throughout April.
