Elon Musk’s Starlink To Donate Over 100 Terminal Kits To Connect Remote Schools Across Armenia

NewsArmeniaElon Musk’s Starlink To Donate Over 100 Terminal Kits To Connect Remote Schools Across Armenia

Elon Musk’s Starlink will donate more than 100 satellite internet terminal kits to schools in Armenia’s remote and hard-to-reach communities, a move expected to expand online education access, improve connectivity, and advance digital inclusion for thousands of students, Armenia’s Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan announced on Facebook.

The announcement follows Starlink’s official launch in Armenia in 2025, which the ministry described as a major step forward for the country’s digital infrastructure, providing fast and reliable satellite internet and strengthening secure, high-quality communications nationwide, from major cities to the most distant villages and difficult-to-reach regions.

Starlink terminal kits typically include a satellite dish (user terminal) and the equipment needed to set it up and connect users to high-speed internet, such as a router, power supply, and cables.

“Today, I am especially pleased to note that, thanks to effective cooperation and ongoing dialogue with the American company, Starlink has decided to donate more than 100 terminals to schools in Armenia, primarily in remote and hard-to-reach communities. This initiative will significantly improve connectivity, support digital inclusion, and ensure access to online education for thousands of students,” Hayrapetyan wrote on Facebook.
