Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has extended heartfelt congratulations to U.S. President Donald Trump on the occasion of American Independence Day, reaffirming Armenia’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with the United States.
In a message addressed to Trump, Pashinyan conveyed greetings on behalf of the Armenian Government and people, highlighting the historical friendship and shared democratic values that bind the two nations.
“Armenia and the United States are united by the historical friendship of our peoples, devotion to democratic principles and Christian values, as well as unwavering commitment to freedom, dignity, and justice,” Pashinyan said.
The Armenian leader underscored the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in a range of areas, including trade, high technologies, energy, mining, transport, and infrastructure. “I am confident that through joint efforts we will bring our relations to an even higher level for the benefit of the peoples of Armenia and the United States,” he stated.
Pashinyan also expressed appreciation for Trump’s approach to global peace and conflict resolution, voicing confidence that under his leadership the United States would contribute meaningfully to lasting stability in the South Caucasus.
“I reaffirm the unwavering commitment of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to the peace agenda, based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, the inviolability of internationally recognized borders, as well as the unblocking of regional infrastructure in line with the principles of the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project,” the message added.
Concluding his address, the Prime Minister extended warm wishes to President Trump for continued health, success, and new achievements, while wishing the American people enduring peace, prosperity, and progress.
