Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has commented on the escalation of the situation in Middle East in the context of the Iranian missile attack on Israel.

“If you are aware of the geopolitical situation, trends and politics in South Caucasus, you know that we in Armenia are doing everything to achieve peace in our region,” said Mirzoyan at the Warsaw Security Forum.

He added, “And we see that countries in our wider neighborhood are firing missiles at each other. Of course we are concerned. Of course we cannot welcome any escalation, and we can only hope that the solution to this conflict will be found as soon as possible.”
