Today, on September 12, Armenia’s Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with China’s Defense Minister, Admiral Dong Jun in Beijing, during his working visit to China, reports Armenia’s Defense Ministry.

During the meeting, Papikyan and Jun expressed their commitment to further advancing Armenia-China cooperation, including enhancing high-ranking contacts between the Armed Forces of the two countries.

The parties noted the substantial progress in military cooperation in recent years, including the exploration of cooperation in new areas.

They underscored the elevated level of relations between the two countries across various domains, including in the defense sector.

Additionally, a range of issues related to international and regional security were also discussed.
