Armenian wrestler Lyova Gevorgyan (125 kg) defeated Azerbaijan’s Aydin Akhmadov 11-0 in the last round to win gold at the U21 European Freestyle Wrestling Championship in Dortmund, Germany, informs the Armenian Wrestling Federation.

Manvel Khndzrtsyan (57 kg) and Levik Mikayelyan won silver medals, while Narek Harutyunyan (70 kg) and Sergey Sargsyan clinched bronze.

Seven Armenian athlete participated in the tournament. The Under-21 European Freestyle Wrestling Championship is being held in Dortmund, Germany from June 28 until July 4.

Lyova Gevorgyan is also a soldier who proudly defends his nation.
