Artsakh’s National Security Service (NSS) confirms in a statement that Armenian citizens of the Republic of Artsakh are receiving calls from the citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey who are offering to buy their property with threats of losing their homeland.

The Artsakh NSS statement runs as follows,

“In recent days, phone calls addressed to the citizens of the Artsakh Republic by the citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey have been registered at the National Security Service of Artsakh.

Once again, we urge you to refrain from answering such suspicious phone calls and to apply to the NSS of Artsakh immediately.

At the same time, we urge to refrain from anti-nationalist practices, not to manipulate and not to discuss such news at open platforms, the purpose of which is to create”among the population of Artsakh”a climate of fear and of uncertainty about the future.”

Earlier, Tigran Abrahamyan, the Former Advisor to the Former President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan, stated that residents of Artsakh receive phonecalls from Azerbaijanis and Turks offering to buy their properties.
