On June 10, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces once again tried to carry out engineering works in the border part of Armenia’s Gegharkunik region, reports the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

The units of the Armenian Armed Forces retaliated, forcing a ceasefire, in response to which the Azerbaijani side opened fire on the Armenian positions.

The Armenian border guards resorted to response action. There are no victims as a result of the shootout from the Armenian side.

Earlier Today, Kut Mayor Sima Chitchyan reported that Azerbaijani soldier fired at Armenian positions for about 30 minutes, reports News.am.

“No shots were heard in the village. I was informed from Sotk that shots were heard in the position area for about 30 minutes. Everything is calm at the moment,” she said.
