This decision was made in connection with the need to strengthen the protection of the southeastern borders of Armenia, reports Sputnik Armenia.

At a meeting on May 27, the Armenian government made a decision to grant land plots in Kapan, Meghri and Tegh to Russian border guards.

The community’s land plots were donated by the government to the border guards of the FSB. It was noted that according to the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, there was a need to strengthen the southeastern borders of Armenia, it was for these purposes that the necessary land plots were allocated.
