The Italian city of San Vito dei Normanni has recognized the independence of Artsakh, reports the Armenian Embassy in Italy.
The post runs as follows,
“We thank the members of the Municipal Council of San Vito dei Normanni for the unanimous adoption of the motion presented by the Councilor Vincenzo Calabretti with which the Municipality expresses solidarity with the people of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), condemning Azerbaijani aggression and urges Italian authorities to recognize the Republic of Artsakh. Thank you Councilor Vincenzo Calabretti!”
