Armenia to conduct warning and evacuation exercises in the two villages near the Turkey’s Kars province on January 21 to 26, 2021, informs the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

The Panik and Nor Kyank villages of Armenia’s Shirak region will be holding these evacuation exercises. In cooperation with local self-government bodies, the electricity bills of the mentioned communities will be tested. The Ministry asked residents of settlements not to worry about the ongoing events.

As previously reported, Turkey & Azerbaijan to hold joint-military exercises beginning on Feb 1-12 in Kars. The last time the two held joint military exercises was on July 29, 2020 less than two months prior to the invasion on Artsakh.
