Hakob Arshakyan, the mayor of the border village of Shurnukh in the Syunik region, sent a video message urging volunteers to come to Shurnukh at 10:00 am to protect the village from Azeri-Turkish invaders, reports News.am.

“It started in Shurnukh in the 90s, and now it is Shurnukh’s issue. Please, I call on all of you to be at Shurnukh at 10:00 am tomorrow to keep our posts. Join us, save our lands, then it will be too late,” he said. 

The head of the village mentions that today the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has removed all the troops and military equipment from the village.
