DiasporaAmericasArtsakh's Archbishop Barkev Martirosyan Undergoes Successful Surgery In The U.S. After Suffering A Heart Attack.

Primate of the “ªArtsakh”¬ Diocese Archbishop Barkev Martirosyan has successfully undergone surgery in the United States after his heart attack, per the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church.

Artsakh’s Archbishop Barkev Martirosyan successfully underwent surgery in a hospital in Los Angeles after suffering a heart attack earlier in the month. His condition is assessed as stable.

The post reads as follows:

“The Primate of the Western Diocese Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and the faithful pray and wish speedy recovery to the beloved Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh, H.E. Abp. Pargev Martirosyan who underwent a successful procedure in one of the hospitals of Los Angeles.
Get well soon, dear Pargev Srbazan!”

It should be reminded that during the war, the Archbishop did not rest. He not only appealed and encouraged the people, but also urged the international community to take steps to stop the Artsakh war and save lives.
