The governor of Lori, Andrey Ghukasyan, made a post on his Facebook page, saying that he joins the call of the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to volunteer for the sacred cause of defending the homeland.
“I, the governor of Lori Andrey Ghukasyan, joining the call of the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, without hesitation for a second, volunteer for the sacred cause of defending my homeland.”
Joining him is the mayor of Etchmiadzin, Diana Gasparyan.
“I, the only woman mayor of Armenia, announce that from today I am volunteering for the defense of the Homeland, “I will go to my share with the victory”
I, the only woman mayor of Armenia, have been to the mourners of all the brave martyrs of Etchmiadzin during this time, to share the grief of their wives, mothers and sisters, and after that every time I went to the soft bed with a feeling of guilt. I have seen 18-year-old soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the Homeland, and I owe it to them to the best of my ability.
Now I, the only woman mayor of Armenia, call on the men of Etchmiadzin to enlist in the army, form a volunteer detachment and join the defense of the Homeland.
