Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was present at the opening ceremony of the Sevan Complex Social Services Regional Center, per the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Zaruhi Batoyan, informed that the Sevan Territorial Center, as a territorial structure that is part of the integrated social services system, will provide social services to about 40,000 residents of 14 villages in the Sevan region of the Gegharkunik province.

The Prime Minister toured the center to get acquainted with the services provided. It was mentioned that the center includes 4 social services: the regional department of social security, the regional employment center, the and medical-social expert commission, the regional social assistance agency. The newly established Office of Integrated Social Services will provide through a single window all the services that were previously provided at different offices at different addresses under different departments.

In total, about 19 employees will work at the center. The total number of beneficiaries is estimated at 13,000 people.
