Three Armenians ” Dr. Nora Arissian, Mr. Jirair Reisian from Aleppo and Lucy Esgenian an attorney from Damascus have been elected to Syria’s 250-seat parliament, according to the preliminary results, per Kantsasar.

The Central Electoral Commission for the 3rd parliamentary elections in Syria declared the ballot boxes closed on the night of Sunday, July 19, 2020. Voting was repeated in some polling stations in some states from 7:00 a.m. Monday to 7:00 p.m.

On the morning of Tuesday, July 21, the Central Electoral Commission will announce the final results of the elections.
