Armenia Says it’s Ready To Receive Armenians From Abroad, Including Lebanon.

DiasporaArmenia Says it's Ready To Receive Armenians From Abroad, Including Lebanon.

Armenia is ready to receive Armenians from abroad, including from Lebanon, said FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Wednesday at the parliament.

Nevertheless, according to the minister, the Armenian community of Lebanon should be provided support on the spot.

He noted that the Armenian community in Lebanon is part of the institutional system of the state and the multi-religious architecture of the social life of Lebanon.

“As the model citizens of the country, the Lebanese Armenians share the achievements and hardships of life in this country on equal terms with others. Any manifestation of xenophobia is very worrying and is directed primarily against the entire Lebanese society. We are sure that the whole Lebanese society will be tough against any such manifestations,” he added.

According to him, Armenia cannot stay away from these issues and is in constant contact with all structures of the Armenian community.
