Georges Kepenekian Submits Candidacy For Mayor Of Lyon, France.

The election is set for March 15-22, 2020. Kepenekian has served as acting mayor since July 17, 2017.

Kepenekian was born in 1949 in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon. He is a doctor and surgeon in urology and prior to his election as mayor was the strategic director of Centre Hospitalier Saint-Joseph Saint-Luc in Lyon since 2005.
