On September 9, Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Executive Director Haykak Arshamyan handed $70,000 to the Armenian Embassy in Damascus to help alleviate the socio-economic problems faced by Armenians caused by the coronavirus.
$30,000 will be shared by some 5o2 teachers working in of Armenian educational institutions in Syria, as well as 42 service staff.
$40,000 will be given to Armenians receiving inpatient treatment for the coronavirus in Syria.
