Today, Armenia’s National Statistical Service announced that a total of 7,578 children were born in Armenia, during the first quarter (January-March) of 2020. 3,038 of which were in Yerevan, and 4,540 in the regions.

A 4.69% decrease from the same period in 2019, and a 8.65% decrease from the same period in 2018. For comparison, in 2019, the number of births was 7,952, and in 2018 – 8,297.
