Edwin Najmi is a 2x Jiu-Jitsu world champion, who was born in Tarzana, California to Armenian parents. He found his home at a Gracie Barra gym under Romulo Barral when he was 17.

About The Guest: Becoming Romulo Barral’s first white belt to black belt, Edwin began to establish himself, as one of the most dominant in the world. He popularized the flying triangle and the move quickly began to be associated with his name. He has a DVD titled Mission Submission, where he explains his top submission moves.

Edwin trains many UFC fighters, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, the reigning undefeated UFC lightweight champion. Most recently he has made the leap to professorship, opening his own Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gym Gracie Barra Tarzana, (http://gbtarzana.com) where he will continue to inspire and lead others in the Jiu Jitsu communities to continue to work towards their full potential in both the sport and all other life goals.
