Green Rock’s multifunctional complex in Dilijan has won a Five-Star award in the Mixed Use Development category for Armenia at the International Property Awards 2026-2027, reports Zartonk Media.

Katerina Danekina, the company’s chief executive, accepted the award on October 22 at the European Property Awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London.

A Five-Star is the highest recognition the awards give at the national level, and only one is selected per country in each category.

The complex runs across two districts of Dilijan and combines accommodation, hospitality, cultural venues, education and public spaces, with a number of historic buildings adapted into it.

Several parts of it are already operating: the Cabinet Café and Restaurant, the Villa3 Community Hub, PPLS Rooms co-living, the new building of the Apicius Armenia hospitality school, and CEMI Café.

Three more are coming. The Hyatt Regency Dilijan broke ground on July 25 and will hold 205 guestrooms and suites as the first Hyatt Regency in Armenia, alongside a Music Hall and an Art Park.

Green Rock announced the wider program in November 2025, committing more than $160 million across eight large-scale projects that form a single 60,000 square meter complex and are expected to create more than 800 jobs.

“It is an important acknowledgment of our team’s work and our vision for Dilijan’s long-term development,” Danekina said. “We believe that a city’s future is shaped not only by new infrastructure, but also by creating an environment where hospitality, culture, education and public life complement one another.”

“Our goal is to help Dilijan develop into an attractive, vibrant city with year-round appeal, while preserving its identity and unique character,” she said.

It is the second international recognition for the project this year. In August, the Dilijan Art Park, one of the three components still to come, was named a finalist in the Future Projects, Leisure Led Development category at the World Architecture Festival Awards, in the festival’s 19th edition.

The Art Park covers 5.72 hectares and was designed by Wowhaus. Its plan includes a central square for concerts and exhibitions, an art residency, an outdoor amphitheatre connected to the Music Hall, a children’s area built as a large art object, and pavilions in wood and Armenian volcanic tuff that reinterpret local architecture.

The International Property Awards were established in 1993 and are judged by a panel of more than 100 industry experts.
