Armenia’s information technology industry grew by 30.4% in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to Sergey Muradyan, advisor to the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. Muradyan shared the figures during the “State & Tech Bridge” discussion, Armenpress reported.
He also highlighted job growth in the sector, noting that in June–July alone the industry added 878 new employees.
The event brought together government officials and leading international tech companies. Participants included Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan, Ministry Secretary General Davit Gasparyan, First Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Vrezh Mkhitaryan, and Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan, alongside representatives of the Ministry of Finance.
Executives from global firms such as NVIDIA, DataArt, ServiceTitan, Siemens, and AMD were also present.
Discussions focused on tax incentives for IT businesses, tools to strengthen research and development (R&D), and the specifics of tax administration. Organizers said the initiative aims to enhance open dialogue between the government and the IT sector, improve legislative frameworks, and support sustainable growth in the sector.
