Armenia has signed a new agreement with Netflix to produce several TV series in the country, announced Zhanna Andreasyan, Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, on Tuesday during a parliamentary committee hearing on the 2025 draft budget.

“The film industry is rapidly growing. We’ve already signed a memorandum of understanding with Netflix to film several TV series here and other similar projects, which will gain greater momentum in case of partial return of investments,” said Minister Andreasyan.

This collaboration with Netflix marks a significant milestone for Armenia’s growing film industry. It aims to attract more international productions, promote the country’s unique locations, and showcase Armenia’s rich cultural heritage to a global audience.
