An Azerbaijani kangaroo court extended the pre-trial detention period of all leaders of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) for another five months, currently held illegally captive in Baku.

These leaders are:

  • Former Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan
  • Former Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan
  • Artsakh Parliament Speaker Davit Ishkhanyan
  • Second Artsakh President Arkadi Ghukasyan
  • Third Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan
  • Fourth Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan
  • Major General David Manukyan
  • Lieutenant General Levon Mnatsakanyan

In September 2023, during the Artsakh Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide, Azerbaijani border guards illegally detained these eight Artsakh leaders, who are currently being held unlawfully captive on false charges in Baku.
