HomelandHayastan Dashinq's Saghatelyan Says Protests Against The Current Authorities Will Resume In Armenia.

Protests organized by Armenia’s opposition forces against the current authorities will resume, said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, one of the leaders of the opposition Hayastan Dashinq, and a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Supreme Council.

“By winning parliamentary seats, we won’t become just a parliamentary opposition. The street protests against the current authorities will continue,” he said in a press conference, adding “I am announcing now that the street protests will continue.”

Saghatelyan noted that they attach great importance to the people’s self-organization in the near future to continue their acts of civil disobedience and movements and to fight against Nikol Pashinyan and his cabinet on two or three fronts.

“In other words, nothing has changed in our assessments and approaches to the actions of these authorities, therefore we will resort to more resolute means of struggle.
