Acting PM Nikol Pashinyan has threatened to prosecute Gazprom Armenia if it is confirmed that its leadership is forcing employees to attend rallies or vote in a certain way in the June 20 parliamentary elections, reports Russian RIA Novosti news agency.

“If there are such facts, we will deal with them. I hope that these facts will not be confirmed, because if they are confirmed, it will mean something else. This will have very grave consequences,” said Pashinyan.

He stressed that any employee of the company who will conduct such activities will at least be fired by July 15, and he will also face criminal liability.

CJSC Gazprom Armenia is a subsidiary of PJSC Gazprom. Agency Sputnik Armenia there said that the company is not involved in electoral processes in the country.
