On May 25, 32-Year-Old Armenian Junior Sergeant Gevorg Y. Khurshudyan was shot and killed by Azerbaijani Armed Forces as a result of a shootout near the village of Verin Shorzha in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province, reports the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia expresses its deep condolences to the family members, relatives and colleagues of the killed soldier.
The situation is reportedly under control at the moment, there are no more shots being fired.
