TUMO Armenia Reception

June 2025: Golden State Bank hosted a special evening dedicated to TUMO Armenia, the innovative after-school learning center that has been transforming how tens of thousands of young Armenians build skills in technology, design, and creative fields.

Held at the Bank’s headquarters on the 23rd floor of 500 North Brand Blvd, in Glendale, the event underscored Golden State Bank’s continued commitment to uplifting Armenian institutions that create real opportunities and help cultivate the next generation of Armenian excellence.

Bridge to the Future: American University of Armenia Reception

September 2023: Golden State Bank welcomed the incoming president of the American University of Armenia, Dr. Bruce Boghosian, during an exclusive reception titled “Bridge to the Future: Elevating Higher Education in Armenia.”

Hosted at the Bank’s Glendale headquarters, the evening brought together community leaders and members of Golden State Bank’s leadership to hear Dr. Boghosian outline AUA’s vision and priorities. The discussion included support for students impacted by the Artsakh crisis and the University’s future plans, including campus growth and long-term development.

USC Institute of Armenian Studies & TEDxLittleArmenia

January 2026: Golden State Bank served as the general sponsor of the USC Institute of Armenian Studies’ inaugural TEDxLittle Armenia event, reinforcing its commitment to supporting platforms that elevate Armenian voices and ideas. The historic debut, held at the USC Bing Theatre in Los Angeles, brought together Armenian speakers from diverse fields to explore the intersections of culture, geography, and personal experience.

March 2026: Golden State Bank demonstrated its commitment to advancing Armenian scholarship and innovation as a Gold Sponsor of the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies’ 20th Anniversary Gala. Held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, the milestone event brought together community leaders, scholars, and supporters to celebrate two decades of academic excellence and cultural impact.

GiniFest Wine Festival

May 2022: Golden State Bank’s support extends beyond education into cultural life, strengthening Armenian identity through community sponsorships.

The Bank proudly served as an Areni sponsor of GiniFest, the 4th Annual Armenian Wine & Spirits Festival held in Los Angeles.

Echoes of Our Ancestors

September 2025: Golden State Bank also stood as a key sponsor of the People of AR’s “Echoes of Our Ancestors” production which hosted over 17,000 attendees at the Hollywood Greek Theatre.

The immersive program presented an oral history of the Armenian people through music, dance, and AI-generated visual experiences, offering a powerful celebration of heritage and resilience.
