Armenian-American producer Sev Ohanian has made Grammy history as his latest film, “Sinners,” earns five nominations at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, placing it among the most-nominated films of all time and marking a defining moment for Armenian representation in Hollywood.

The film, directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Sev Ohanian alongside Ryan and Zinzi Coogler, has been recognized across five major categories for its powerful score, original songs, and compilation soundtrack, bridging the worlds of cinema and music with extraordinary artistry.

Set in the 1930s Mississippi Delta, “Sinners” masterfully weaves together elements of Southern Gothic, supernatural horror, and musical drama, exploring themes of faith, guilt, and survival through a mix of haunting imagery and spiritual storytelling.

Composer Ludwig Göransson’s evocative, gospel-infused score, blending blues, soul, and period-authentic sounds, plays a central role in the film’s emotional depth and cultural resonance.
