Armenia will host the prestigious “Eurovision Young Musicians,” a classical music competition, for the first time on June 6, 2026. The announcement was made jointly by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Public Television of Armenia.

Eurovision Young Musicians is often described as the classical equivalent of the Eurovision Song Contest.

In a statement, Armenia’s Public Television emphasized the importance of hosting the competition: “This is a great honor for Armenia to host young, talented classical musicians from different countries. We warmly look forward to welcoming these gifted young musicians to our beautiful country to jointly create a celebration of classical music.”

The broadcaster added that preparations are underway to host participants and guests from across Europe, highlighting the cultural significance of the event for Armenia.
