Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declares that Turkey can enter Israel just as it entered Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and Libya.
“We must be very strong so that Israel cannot do these things to Palestine. Just like we entered Karabakh and Libya, we might do the same here. There is nothing we can’t do. We must be strong so that we can take these steps,” Erdogan added in a televised address.
“Who can guarantee that those who are razing Gaza today will not set their sights on Anatolia tomorrow?” Erdogan stated.
Erdogan made these statements at his ruling party’s rally in his hometown of Rize on Sunday.
To note, this is not the first time high-ranking Turkish officials have made similar statements regarding Turkey’s involvement in the 44-Day Artsakh War in 2020, when Azerbaijan launched a full-scale war against the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), with the military support of Turkey and Israel.
