NewsArtsakhVladimir Putin: There Are Major Humanitarian Issues In Artsakh, Including Actions That Lead To Ethnic Cleansing

Referring to the situation in Artsakh, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the problems that may lead to major humanitarian issues and particualrly to ethnic cleansing in Artsakh have not disappeared.

He noted that the mandate of Russian peacekeepers is still valid in Artsakh.

“It is true, the mandate of Russian peacekeepers is still valid, and the issues of a humanitarian nature, issues of actions that may laed to ethnic cleansing, of course, have not disappeared anywhere. I completely agree with that. I hope that the leadership of Azerbaijan, as it has always told us and is still telling us, is not interested in such actions”, he said.

As a reminder, the car loaded with humanitarian aid sent by Russia to Artsakh reached Stepanakert via Akna-Askera road. The humanitarian cargo entered the Republic of Artsakh through the Russian Red Cross on September 12, with the permission of the authorities of the republic through the town of Askeran. The aid contains vital Russian-made goods.
