The French ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies, denied the information spread on the Internet that the French embassy warns its citizens not to visit the border regions of Armenia, in particular, Syunik and Vardenis. He wrote about it in his Twitter microblog.

“Fake news. our travel advisor for Armenia has not been updated since July 18, 2023,” he wrote.

Azerbaijan has been disseminating false information on a regular basis even many times per day about the purported provocation or accumulations of the Armenian side. At the same time, Azerbaijani military buildups are visible in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and along the country’s border with Armenia.
