NewsArmeniaThe Armenian Revolutionary Federation Starts A Protest In Front Of Azerbaijani Embassy In Lebanon In Response To The Artsakh Blockade

On August 30th, the youth organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) organized a protest in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in Lebanon. This has been one of several protests that the ARF community in Lebanon has organized in response to the ongoing illegal blockade of Artsakh organized and conducted by the Azerbaijani state.

The youth organization of ARF demanded response from the Lebanese government to put more effort into bringing highlight to the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh. The protesters also demanded that the Azerbaijani diplomats of the Embassy be put under enough pressure from the Lebanese government and particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to influence the situation in Artsakh.

It is notable that the ARF and its organization have been active in their attempts to bring into public attention the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, through the conduction of protests in the US, Lebanon, Syria and other parts of the world. The ARF branch in Yerevan, Armenia is planning to organize a protest in Armenia on September 2.
