The Armenian National Men’s Basketball Team defeat Iran 77-73 in an upset victory in their second game of 3 in the 2022 SADA Cup at the Karen Demirchyan Sports Complex in Yerevan, Armenia.

Andre Spight Mkrtchyan scored 26 points and was named player of the match.

The SADA Cup international basketball tournament is a tuneup for the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries.

In the final game, the Armenian National Team will play against Syria on Sunday, June 26th. A win will see them finish first place and win the SADA Cup.

After the SADA Cup, the team will travel to Malta to face Gibraltar in their first game of the FIBA European Championship for Small Countries.

Armenia defeat Team USA 94-59 in the opening match.
