HomelandTatoyan: Water Problems In Meghri Caused by Azerbaijan Diverting The Direction Of The Zvaraget Tributary Over 5 Years Ago.

It has been more than 5 years since Azerbaijani serviceman changed the direction of the Zvaraget tributary, which no longer flows into the Meghri River, said Arman Tatoyan, Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia in a press conference on Tuesday.

Since August, this has caused serious problems associated with drinking and irrigation water in the villages of Nrnadzor, Shvanidzor, and Alvank in Meghri.

The Ombudsman added that Armenia has ample opportunities to raise these issues in the UN, CE and other international structures.
