The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is a Formula One motor racing event that was held for the first time in 2017. It is held on the Baku City Circuit, a street circuit in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The race weekend is slated to begin on June 4th and culminates with the race on June 6th.

It should be noted that the Baku City Circuit is locates next to Azerbaijan’s ‘Military Trophy’ Park.

Azeri authorities have also depicted cartoonist Armenian servicemen in another display at the same park.

Its dehumanization of the Armenian enemy reflects the logic of exclusion that has dominated in Azerbaijan for decades: The enemy, internal or external, must be eliminated.
