On May 20, at around 9:10 p.m., a group of Azerbaijani soldiers illegally entered into Armenia’s borders in Syunik’s Khoznavar village, starting a fight with a number of Armenia soldiers performing their official duties. Eleven Armenian soldiers were injured to varying degrees during the fight. The Armenian servicemen managed to send the enemy back to their starting positions, reports the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia. 

Earlier in the day, at around 10:00 a.m., a group Azerbaijan servicemen illegally entered into Armenia’s borders in Syunik’s Khoznavar village, advancing about 1.5 km into the territory of the Republic of Armenia while claiming that the territory belongs to the Republic of Azerbaijan as they threatened to use force and open fire. The Armenian servicemen managed to send them to their starting positions.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia filed a criminal case, according to the second part of Article 329 of the Criminal Code of Armenia(two episodes), Article 300.2 and Article 112, Part 2, Clauses 1, 2, and 6.
