Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has confirmed that the Armenian government is indeed negotiating a new document with Azerbaijan and Russia.
The redacted paper was first published by Armenia’s former ambassador to the Vatican Mikayel Minasyan, who said Pashinyan was going to sign the new agreement that would damage the interests of the country.
“Yes, if Azerbaijan implements those agreements, in the conditions we have talked about, yes, I will sign that document,” Nikol Pashinyan stated at the government sitting.
He stated that he would not publish the document to be signed because it was not correct to publish a working document.
The acting PM said Armenia has reached preliminary agreements with its international colleagues, and that those “solutions are 100% in line with the interests of the Republic of Armenia.”
