Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that Ankara supports the Palestinians with the same attitude with which it previously supported Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), reports Russian TASS news agency.
“We are saddened and outraged by the cruelty of the terrorist state of Israel. Turkey’s position on this issue is principled. With what attitude we supported Azerbaijan’s struggle for the liberation of Nagorno-Karabakh and its occupied territories yesterday, today we are acting with the same attitude against persecution in Jerusalem,” said Erdogan.
