Today, Polish politician and lawyer Tomasz Lech Buczek penned a letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, offering himself as an exchange for Armenian prisoners-of-war.

Buczek is currently in Armenia on a working visit. Over the past week, he met with His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Diaspora High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan, officials of the Ombudsman for Human Rights of Armenia, among other officials.

His post reads as follows,

“I want to give myself up for Armenian prisoners of war.

I sent offert to Aliyev email president Azerbaijan.”
